William Hill are synonymous with betting in the UK and although they were perhaps a bit slow to go online they have more than made up for it in recent years. They offer the complete package of online casino, poker, virtual races, bingo and of course betting and sportsbooks. In addition to English the site is also availabke in German, French, Greek, Chinese and Japanese.
This review is however focussed on their sportsbook and betting offering, reviews of the online casino and poker room can be found elsewhere on this site, and as you would expect from one of the most well established betting chains in the UK they offer a vast choice all presented in a very nice and clear gaming interface. Personally I'm a big fan of these all in one gambling portals because it satisfies all of your gambling needs are in one place and all from the same account.
William Hill's sportsbook is divided into 27 sections the most important of which are:
Horse racing: This is where William Hill started and you can get bet on almost everything you can imagine from regular first past the post to far more esoteric bets!
Sports: As far as I can tell William Hill take bets on almost all sporting events occuring any where in the world, the choice is absolutely huge and one massively important factor is that this is a well respected bookmaker so you know you can trust them with regards to paying out and the odds being fair etc.
Politics/TV: This is always a really fun section where you can bet on current affairs from whether it will snow on Christmas day to results of elections etc.
These days having a huge choice of bets on offer is not necessarily enough for an online bookmakers and William Hill know this only to well which is why they place a huge amount of focus on the other crowd pleasers like fantastic customer support, building on their legendary phone support, to fantastic promotions which change all the time, at the time of writing this review they are offering a £25 free bet! They offer real time video streaming for many of the sporting events you can bet on which makes the experience a lot more exciting and interactive. There aren't any specific bonuses for their sportsbooks but there are signup bonuses which rival any of the other online sportsbooks and in reality a lot of bonuses offered by online bookmakers are not really worth it when you look at the smallprint, which you should always do before signing up to them.
In conclusion I have to say that William Hill is my favourite online bookmaker which is why it is at the top of the list. Even before the internet and everything turning online I used to make by bets at William Hill because I knew it was a name I could trsut. To this day I have never had any issues with them nor heard of anybody else having any serious issue which couldn't be solved amicably. If you add to this the fact that they also have a great online casino and poker rooms then you will understand why I tend to spend rather a lot of time in this online gambling wonderland!
